Finding a New Momentum

We feel the most productive on the days we feel our best, but where does the productivity go when we know that today is not our best? On days where we feel like we aren't having our best days does our productivity decrease? The simple answer is of course, of course our productivity decreases when we aren't feeling our best or aren't feeling like doing it. These feelings take over our mind and we usually succumb to them. We are all victims when it comes to our feelings.

When you hear your alarm go off in the morning what do you do? Hit the snooze? Or do you get up and feel possessed to conquer your day? But getting up? My cool pillow feels nice, and the blankets are keeping me warm. Of course, everyone including me would take the easy route, our feelings are pushing for it. However, those who say "no, not this time" who spring out of bed and get to work feel accomplished and feel worthy for their inner self.

There is no straight path or easy answer to life. Those who do take a straight path and take things easy will make their lives very difficult. But those who put that extra effort in, even on the days where they don't feel like it will make their lives easy in the long run. Find that new momentum and hold on to it for dear life.
